Secondary school certificate
If the applicant completes their secondary education during the current term and their certificate is not issued before the application deadline, a proof of student status or a certification, which verifies that the applicant will receive matriculation is required instead. In case of being accepted as a student however, the applicants must present their certificate of matriculation upon enrolment at the latest.
Please note: Even if you have a university degree, we only need your high school certificate provided.

Entrance examination and selection process
After sending all the necessary application documents, motivation letter, medical certificates and the physical aptitude video the applicant takes a professional entrance examination via Skype organised by the Admission Committee of the Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Primary and Pre-School Education.

Aptitude exams

1. Language aptitude test in English – written (Motivation letter) and oral (Skype)
   The language aptitude test in English assesses whether the candidate has an intermediate command of English. The interview is based on your motivation letter.
2. Speech aptitude test – Skype
   The speech aptitude test assesses whether the candidate has good communicative competency needed for the profession and that his/her language competence is sufficient for completing the curriculum of the programme.
3. Physical aptitude exam – video file
   The physical aptitude test assesses whether the candidate has the basic physical abilities needed for the profession, and will be able to complete the physical education required in the curriculum. Applicants have to upload a video that proves their physical competence. See the requirements here. If you need more information contact the faculty coordinator.
4. Singing aptitude exam – Skype
   The singing aptitude test assesses whether the candidate has good music skills and his/her singing is suitable for the teaching profession, and the ability to complete the curriculum of the programme.

Place of entrance examination: Online-Skype

The candidate needs to pass all aptitude exams.

The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English.

Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.

You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
